I have been a qualified GP since 2007 having attended medical school in Leeds. I am currently a part time partner in Rawdon surgery in Leeds. I completed the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology in 2009. Following this I gained experience in dermatology working with consultants in secondary care and providing community clinics in Leeds, Pontefract and Wakefield and I have now been working as a GP with special interest in dermatology for since 2011.

Completed specialist training in Plastic Surgery in UK November 2003. Spent more than 3 years as Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Trinidad and Tobago. Returned to UK in 2007 and joined consultant staff at Pinderfields Hospital.

I have 25 years experience of working in general practice but my special interest has always been Dermatology. I have worked as a clinical assistant in Dermatology at Pontefract General Infirmary since 1995 and currently work two hospital sessions per week where I see a variety of dermatological problems.

Mr Fourie has been a consultant Plastic Surgeon in Pinderfields Hospital since 1993. He currently operates and does clinics in Pinderfields Hospital, Dewsbury and District Hospital and Pontefract General Infirmary. He is a core member of the Mid Yorkshire Skin Cancer MDT. He does voluntary charitable work in Ethiopia as part of the Facing Africa Noma Charity operating on adults and children with facial deformities.
Your GP has referred you into the Consultant Led Integrated Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust and Novus Health Community Dermatology Service. As a result of the Consultant triage of your referral it has been decided you are suitable to be seen by a specialist Dermatology GP. This will enable you to be seen faster and at locations that may be more convenient to you than having to go to hospital.
